That's completely fine. Tell us your occasion, the fabric colour, and your rough budget. We'll suggest options and share reference designs to help you decide. There's no commitment at this stage.
We collect an advance payment after the design brief is confirmed and before work begins. The remaining balance is due on completion, before shipping. The exact advance amount is shared with your quote. We accept UPI, bank transfer, and other standard digital payment methods.

About Aari embroidery
Understanding the craft
Aari is a traditional Indian embroidery technique done with a hooked needle called an Aari needle. It's used to pull thread loops through fabric from below, creating fine continuous chain stitch patterns. It's one of the most intricate forms of hand embroidery and is especially popular for bridal and occasion wear in South India.
Aari is a technique — it refers to the needle and method. Zardosi is a style of heavy embroidery using metallic threads, beads, and stones, typically done using the Aari technique. So Zardosi embroidery is a specific type of Aari work. We do both Aari thread work and Aari Zardosi depending on the design brief.
Silk, raw silk, velvet, georgette, and net are the most popular. Cotton and linen can also be embroidered but require additional backing. Stretch fabrics like lycra are not suitable as the embroidery restricts movement. Share your fabric type when you enquire and we'll advise accordingly.
Always dry clean Aari embroidered pieces. Avoid machine washing as agitation can loosen threads and dislodge stones. Store flat or rolled — do not fold at the embroidered section. Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight. A light pressing with a cloth on the reverse side is safe if needed.
It depends on the design. Thread-only Aari work is very lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. Designs with stones and dense Zardosi work add weight but are designed for occasions where you won't be in constant movement. We always consider wearability when planning stitch density and material placement.
Yes, we work on both stitched and unstitched blouses. For stitched blouses, the embroidery is worked directly on the garment. We place the blouse on a frame and embroider within the finished shape, so measurements and seams are respected.
Yes, entirely. Every stitch on every piece is done by hand using the Aari needle. There is no machine embroidery involved at any stage. This is why timelines are what they are — handmade work cannot be rushed without compromising quality, and we won't do that.
